If you could pick 'Plan B' 14:17 - Nov 24 with 799 viewsSparky85

What would it look like?

Mine would be an attacking 3-4-1-2 as follows:

Walton
JD, Edmundson, Burgess
Burns, Morsy, Evans, Edwards
Chaplin
Pigott, Bonne

Same formation, different fullbacks, basically Cook's system because our current attacking fullbacks always get injured and it's clear to see we miss them, we only need one of those to be fit but we only seem to be able to play the defensive players; This is our plan B right now, because the plan A is playing the attacking fullbacks which is the MAIN system Cook uses.

Agree that in the current formation we need more attacking fullbacks. But plan B for me needs to be a different formation to completely change the way a game is going.

3-5-2 if the opposition have one upfront, 4-4-2 if they have two upfront...this should be changeable during the game with the same personnel

Just one small problem; sell their houses to who, Ben? Fcking Aquaman?

I think we should simply go back to basics. 4-4-2. Play with more pace with the central defenders not trying to play as they aren’t that sort of players.

We don't have any attacking fullbacks a the minute because the ones we do can't defend. So yes system change needed.

3 5 2 for me. We have the players to do it.

Walton

Nsiala, Edmunson, Burges
Burns, Morsy, Evans, Celina, Edwards
Pigott, Bonne

Should be strong enough to beat any team in this league.

Saying that the current set up should really be strong enough to beat any team in this league (apart from Rotherham) Oh look we could have beaten any team in this league.

Personally 4-2-3-1 has worked well away from home, but we need to be more attacking at home, so for me 3-4-1-2.

Walton

Donacien
Edmundson
Burgess

Burns
Morsey
Fraser
Coulson

Chaplain/Celina

Pigott
Bonne
