For instance, Russia are saying they have had 234,000 deaths but excess deaths in Russia are running at 904,000. Mexico's excess deaths are 300,000 above their official covid number.
India is the worst though. The official figure is ~200,000 deaths from covid but the excess deaths are ~2,300,000 at a minimum.

I don't see how there can be differing views about a disease.
Either it's transmissible or it isn't.
Once the more reliable PCR rules kick in will those replace the laterals? It wouldn't make sense to have both as one is more definitive than the other?

I have to admit I didn't even know the laterals had to be purchased. The last batch I had came through the post for free.
Yes I can see how it's irritating to need to pay out twice but even more so if it's at an inflated price to line some private firm's pockets.
There should be a system in place where we have to cover the costs of the kits and any admin involved but it should not be for profit, I agree with that take.
