He has lost the crowd. 18:30 - Nov 28 with 6315 views | 3_5_2 | Rotherham was as flat as pancake as very few honestly thought we would get anything from the game ( would have been for the players to have least tried) Today, v a team bottom of the league, the crowd never really got going and the atmosphere at PR is poor again. Goals apart, that was a poor performance against a side we could / should have put to the sword I can’t remember the last time a crowd booed a winning team off Seems yet another false dawn for the long suffering town fans. Couldn't agree more. Let us give PC at the very least until the end of the season. We all know we are in League 1, yes it sucks to win by a narrow 1 goal margin against Crewe, but we will come good under PC.

He has lost the crowd. on 19:30 - Nov 28 by Yallop | No we aren't. We can beat the stick on Cook for a few things but the style is night and day with Lambert. |
Each to their own. But no different imo Some attempts at goal. Slow tempo. No real intent to attacks. Players waiting on others to do things.

He has lost the crowd. on 19:30 - Nov 28 by chrismakin | They absolutely did. Their problem tho thankfully was they chose the wrong final pass. At least 4 times first half alone. They had 3 on 2 and went wrong. Let alone second half. |
But you could also take issue with a lot of Town’s final passes. Lots wrong today, we agree on that, and Crewe shouldn’t have been near it.

Please enlighten us with you crystal ball. Mine says we will lose at Charlton and Cook will be gone by Xmas

Absolutely it goes both ways.. but crewe shouldn't have been allowed such moments. It wasn't just one or two it was an incredible amount. Our off the ball shape is shocking

It's 36 league games now, and over those 36 league games he's managed to accrue just 11 wins and 46 points. In the third division. Worryingly many of the issues that he pinned on the players last season seem to be recurring all too often this season as well. I note some of the language in his post match interview is sounding rather like last season too. That's without even mentioning the resources he's had to work with relative to the rest of the division. After taking 3 points from a kind opening 6 fixtures there's plenty of other clubs where the fans would have been on his back after the poor end to last season. The murmurs of discontent now are the least his performance warrants.

The way we are playing. Town haven't knocked the ball around like this for about 5 seasons. I accept we are far from the finished article, however, you can see we are progressing as a team.

Herbie, we all know that Cook will not be a success because he has had enough time to prove us wrong. Ashton is the problem and is finding it difficult to admit it. II might be that those Bristol City fans comments on Ashton may be right.

He has lost the crowd. on 19:13 - Nov 28 by Yallop | Point of order. We are no way the most patient fans in the country |
I can’t think of a more patient set of supporters tbh. Years of abject football and performances. Even MMs two decent seasons were built on hard work and organisation. By and large we’ve suffered a trail of garbage teams, pension topper uppers, wasters and journeymen insulting the shirt. And the crowds are still in the upper teens and early 20,000s. Managers get a bit of stick? Jeez I can recall being at Tottenham and hearing the great Bill Nicholson getting dogs abuse after 10 minutes. And don’t start me on the ‘loyal’ West Ham supporters. This season had so much promise. Cook has made a right pigs ear of it. We are wallowing about in the middle of L1 with little prospect of getting anywhere near the top six. Of course people are hacked off. They’ve every right to be. Charlton and Wigan should be dreading us turning up. I bet they can’t wait. [Post edited 28 Nov 2021 21:09]

Can overplay this a bit. No one's going to be booing if we beat Charlton or Wigan 2-1, are they?

He has lost the crowd. on 19:05 - Nov 28 by Yallop | It's a strange game. I left Sunderland wondering how on earth we didn't win. We dominated them and lost. Today was almost the opposite. Second half especially was poor. |
PCs subs made it worse! Evans in particular. And Aluko plays for 10-20 mins! Crossing is shocking!

It feels like unless we can go in a sustained good run it’s going to be that way - most I spoke to in my area (admittedly not many) just don’t seem at all convinced things will turn judged on what they are seeing

He has lost the crowd. on 21:31 - Nov 28 with 1037 views | azuremerlangus | Not sure he has lost the crowd - more like reality is now starting to set in. Today’s game was a good summary of where we are in the ‘project’ and the journey up to this point: Moments of brilliance, mostly from individuals rather collectively. Still not looking like a tight unit who are difficult to break down or able to shut up shop when ahead. As expected still a work in progress but nagging doubts are creeping in that the recent stalling isn’t temporary. [Post edited 28 Nov 2021 21:35]

People get over the top with this stuff. Cook's doing a rubbish job, but we not actually incapable of narrowly beating Charlton and Wigan.
