Ashton is the problem 20:04 - Nov 28 with 1740 viewsIwasthere

Cook is a total failure. The Yanks love a scouse accent and think that the Beatles are still number one.
For God's sake sack him tomorrow together with Roberts and the Kit Man. I think Jeffers is an asset, maybe because he is an Evertonian and has some blue blood.

How on earth does this make sense - that it's Ashton's fault?

Ashton is the problem because Cook is a failure and the yanks love a scouser? Is this a wind up?

The first sentence I agree with. The rest of the post is eerrrr, puzzling.

Cook was appointed by life drainer Evans in March, Ashton rolled in 1st June. How is Ashton the problems?

He is surely feeling the pressure and is aware the buck stops with him. Anyone who has worked for an American company will know they can be ruthless and have no time for sentiment. He has dug a deep hole for himself by backing Cook. When a manager leaves a club the caretaker manager is usually someone from the backroom staff. Ipswich have no backroom staff and Ashton has failed by not insisting Cook appointed an Assistant Manager. Interesting times ahead for both Cook and Ashton, the dreaded vote of confidence must be near.

I think we have a Bristol City spy in the ranks. He has an agenda.

What a load of clappers. Who could sack Cook - Ashton. Who is generously paid? Ashton?
For God's sake get rid of Cook, he will never succeed here. If Ashton doesn't accept that get rid of him too. You know it makes sense.

Dear Churchman, Ashton is the CEO

You haven’t answered my question. How is Ashton responsible for Cook’s appointment when he started with 3 months after Cook?

I know he’s CEO, and if you are saying he should have fired him while being CEO at window licker Gate, please tell me how that works?im fascinated. If you are saying he’s ultimately responsible for Cook’s incompetence, actually he’s not. O’Leary is and so are the owners that didn’t get rid of Cook when they took over. Should they all go too?

I’m struggling to understand. This is not even a good wind up. If you are part of and lapping the nonsense on the Bristol City lobotomy forum, I suggest you return there and enjoy it.

I can only assume this is a wind-up or you are drunk.

Ashton performed miracles in the summer getting players like Morsy and Celina to sign for us. He doesn't have to justify his job to someone like you, who clearly knows very little about football.
