Town’s Greatest Scots? on 08:21 - Nov 30 with 1168 views | Churchman | I never saw Moran play. My dad reckoned he was decent though. I’ll go: 1) John Wark 2) George Burley 3) Alan Brazil Edit: Phil is right - Adam Scott Mathieson Duncan (what a name!) is the greatest of all. He is a hugely important figure in ITFC history [Post edited 30 Nov 2021 8:29]

The best I've known is Berra to be fair.

Oh yes. | | | |
Town’s Greatest Scots? on 08:59 - Nov 30 with 1052 views | PJH | Jimmy Leadbetter is another to be considered, being a huge part of Sir Alf Ramsey's title-winning setup. Dougie Moran made a great contribution to that team too.

Berra was not our best ever Scot but he deserves the mention; I saw him at Wembley in 2016 against England. He was naturally left footed as was Tommy Smith and both leaving, left the club woefully short of left sided centre backs. Far too often right sided players had to play on the left costing us on many occasions.

That I've seen play, this 3 is correct.

1 Wark (by a country mile) 2 Baxter 3 Burley (ahead of Brazil for length of time at the club as player and success as mdnager).
