Not for me.
1, Manning 20 games at a club who already had a identity how they played from previous manager. Got to be able to handle the expectations of the supporters and owners who want success quickly.

2, Appleton one good season at Lincoln not being derogatory but has had bad health.

3 -4 These two managers go on good winning runs Then go on really bad runs so not sure they are consistent enough.

It's hard to believe, given how little added value we actually got from Cook, that any of these appointments wouldn't improve us. We're currently a good 9 places below a par managerial performance, let alone a good one.

Definitely not Appleton or Johnson.

Appleton has never convinced me he anything more than a flash-in-the-pan, and as has been mentioned before, Johnson is alarmingly prone to those runs of losing 6, 7, 8 matches in a row with no idea how to stop the rot.
