If you put aside all the stuff Bristol City fans have said that our fans now parrot back as if they have some sort of inside info like he loves the spotlight etc can anyone actually name one thing he has done wrong so far?
Sometimes I wonder if some people actually care about the club at all with how willing they are to believe every little piece of gossip.

As you have said in another thread, this is a mile ahead of anything we have seen under the previous owner! I think he has played the situation really well and I don't believe a word he says that McGreal wasn't the contingency!

Difficult one to answer, given nobody has much insight as to what he does do and how effectively he does it, good or bad.
Agree entirely about Bristol City fans, as exactly the same applies to them, and no doubt he was an easy target. We had the same last season, L O'N got all manner of abuse on here, largely I would wager from people who don't have the first clue about his contribution. |  |

Of course, I agree he shouldn’t be given stick for what he has or hasn’t done. Mainly because I don’t really know what any of that is.
I think his role has been needed so If he gets the most out of his staff and delivers on his responsibilities I’m guessing we should be fine. | |

I was a little uncomfortable with the Lincoln celebration thing - he should have kept that to the Directors Box or somewhere else. But in all seriousness, no I can’t. I think that for the most part in his six months here he’s filled in a lot of the holes in the club left by Evans.
I may not agree with all his decisions but he seems pretty clear on what he is trying to do and I can live with that - as long as he lets the manager manage the team and sticks within the structure the club is building.
As for the Bristol City lobotomised brigade, I couldn’t care a less what their view is. He’s not there now and should be judged on what he does here. I would add that the Bristol local reporters’ views were at odds, to an extent, with their forums. |  | | |
