v Wigan.

1) As mentioned already, GREAT SUPPORT !!!
2) A tad more belief and fighting spirit by the players.
3) Our defending is still really dam poor from open play and set pieces. Sort it out .
4) Wish we had someone prepared to go on a run with the ball for a change.

To lift the fans it would be great if we can raise our game to get past Barrow AND Barnsley in the FA Cup.

simple math here is the team won't see a promotion and can't expect to get too far in the F.A. Cup with it. Should beat Barrow in the replay game and Barnsley is doable but to get beyond say Round Four seems doubtful.

The clear objective now is to finish in as high a position as possible in the league. It's a shame to write-off a season before end of year but you got to be realistic about the chances. McGreal could stay on or we could appoint any name available but even now got to accept and abandon all talk of a promotion.

Best shot, we get 8th or 9th in the League and being Fourth stage of the major Cup competition. Don't give a rat's ass for the Papa John trophy crap we are, or were,
involved in.

I disagree with anyone that says the season is finished. YES it will be extremely difficult to make the playoffs now but you absolutely cannot rule it out. If we can build up some level of momentum within the next few matches it is possible. We aren't yet half way through the season and a 9 point deficit can be turned over!
