Start all over again. Seems to me these players may have had, and possibly still do, a strong bond with Paul Cook and his departure has un settled them or disenfranchised them. Either way it’s not going to work, I take solace from the fact that a new appointment will not be subject to the considerations of Marcus Evans. We need a structure on the playing side, at the sharp end. We’ve got 20 new players, very few leaders so it’s no wonder we’re a rudderless ship.
It needs a Warnock, an Allardyce and dare I say it a Mickma to get the team organised and provide some leadership and guidance along of course with some ass kicking.
January I’d be adding 3 old head players to add to the spine.
Build on that.
