Some of these players need a new manager to come in and tell them.. 03:41 - Dec 16 with 610 viewsThe_Romford_Blue

..that they’re currently an absolute disgrace to the shirt. 2 of the last 3 games we’ve been nothing short of disgusting.

We need that type of manager to come in and tell the lazy c***s they’re playing like lazy c***s. For me, that man is quite clearly Neil Warnock.

Whether you like him or not, whether he’s a long term solution or not, whether he’s the type of coach we’d go for or not, Neil Warnock right now is exactly who we need to sort out a club who somehow finds itself in a crisis yet again.

I just can,t see a new manager making much difference to the team that played v Barrow. You can stamp your feet and rant at footballers but if there is limited ability, a casual desire and no stomach for a battle then it is a very big job for any manager.

The defending was shocking to watch. There were areas all over the pitch that the Barrow team found as they by-passed their marker and played through this Ipswich team There was no spark going forward from the midfield. Chasing shadows again. When we did have the ball it was easier to pass sideways and backwards, or back to the keeper. There was certainly little service to anything up front. The occasional flurry in the 2nd half . There were examples of the occasional cross into the oppositions penalty box but there was no one there to meet it. When you watch a professional footballer pass the ball straight to the opposition, avoids the opposition or just boots it in to no-mans-land then it is gone past the "back to basics" excuse. A sad day for this club. Summed up nicely by commentator / ex player Terry Butcher at half time !!!!!

It doesn’t seem like the right environment to bring in a young coach does it.

This is the problem though when you sack a manager without a plan. Why on earth didn’t he either wait a couple of games to line somebody up, or move more quickly now. Doing what they’ve done has created massive issues on and off the pitch.

We’ll possibly ruin a young coaches prospects, I hope we go for a waste of space with no real idea.
