When his talking I don't see a motivater
A character maybe a good coach and tactician, I don't see him being to close to the players in that respect. I remember Robson took the players to fun park in Germany to unwind I don't see this in McKenna.

Yes, but it was generally the Cobbolds that supplied the fun while dear old Bobby tried to stop them….and usually failed!

But was Sir Bob when he first joined? Having fistycuffs with the club captain probably says he wasnt....he needed time to get there.

That trip in Germany was after Sir Bob had been here for several years and had big success. In his first year or so he had several bust ups with significant players. I don’t th8nk he was close to the players at that stage!

You seem to have learned a lot about him from a thirty minute video. I am impressed.

He which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse;
We would not play in that man's company.

We genuinely don't know, I'd be very happy if he got Jim Magilton back to the club to help him - someone more experienced who he knows and who knows the club and fans who's also a big character

We’ve lack Assistant Manager esqe tactical agility from our past 2, possibly 3, managers and now we’ve decided to recruit that first and foremost. I’m looking forward to a plan not working and having someone with the awareness to change it rather than just rely on shouting ‘come on’ a bit more from the sideline.

Could be an exciting ride this, you’re right.
