You say that, but we've been using all sorts of couriers this winter and believe it or not Hermes have been the most reliable, I'd say 99% delivered within 2 days.
In my experience all couriers are fine, until something goes wrong, then they're all sh*t. (Hermes probably have the worst customer service though tbf) |
Exactly. Hermes are a budget service. I have used them plenty of times & generally had a good result. But like Ryanair, when something goes wrong, you regret using a budget service. |  |

Dunno if you hate Amazon as much as I do, but sometimes there's just no alternative - re-ordered all mine through them on Tues, couple of things arrived yesterday, the rest today - so yay, gotta give Am some kudos for that 👠|  |

We have settled with DX now and they are ok - but it does depend on the depot a bit. We dispatch from Dorset, Norwich and Leicester, Norwich and Leicester are fine but Dorset hub is not so good.
Also this year we have used Hermes, FedEx, DPD, and DHL. DHL and DPD are great, FedEx are useless.
To be fair to Hermes they aren't that bad, especially when you can deliver a parcel to Scotland for £2.50 [Post edited 23 Dec 2021 19:22]
