Agreed and Joelinton looked a revelation in his new role. If Newcastle keep playing like that they won’t finish in the bottom 3 come the end of season.

Not much of a record is it - more like a pointless statistic - as a football season goes on over two calendar years and the most hopeless teams are relegated and cant fight for the crown the following year.

Quite liked the equally pointless stat that Ronaldo ends 2021 as the leading scorer of Man U and juventus though
