Nissan Juke 14:15 - Dec 31 with 1411 viewsBent_double

Anyone own one of these? Good, bad or indifferent?

I'm thinking of getting one, having just passed on my little old Corsa to my son.

They're a bit quirky looking, not to everyones taste, but I've grown to like them - having never actually owned or driven one!

I've only had Fords and Vauxhalls mainly, all pretty reliable, so just looking for something a bit different, small/medium sized that's reliable and cheap to run (I don't even drive that much).

I had one a 4 or 5 years ago decided to go for a cheaper car as the mrs was on maternity leave and got told her job was on the line.

It didn’t mind it, wasn’t great or bad just ok, I would say.

What engine if you don't mind me asking? From what I've read, it seems the smaller sizes (1.2, 1.0) might be better than the 1.6 petrol.

I'm probably looking at a 3-4 yr old model for my budget.

Misread the title. Was going to say I have a few jokes about Ladas’s but none about Nissans.

I recently changed car and considered the juke but went Peugeot 2008
Don't regret it one bit.

Nicer drive on the test and just felt more comfortable

I run a Ford Puma 1.0 125bhp mild hybrid, and it's a really good car in this segment. I mostly do long distance dual carriageway / motorway miles, and get 53mpg at 70-and-a-bit. Comfortable enough, and a big boot.

I collect cars these days for a living. The Nissan Juke is in most trade plater Top 3 worst cars. Mainly ex motabilty cars, not looked after and driven poorly. They are also unreliable and tech wise very dated. AVOID
