Loans. Other club youngsters. 20:18 - Jan 4 with 878 viewschrismakin

What's your thoughts on the potential of us bringing in a handful of utd youngsters..

Obviously alot of papers and social media 'journos' pop up with their lists of potential KM signings. Mostly utd youngsters so far for obvious reasons.

How do you feel about it, if indeed it happened.

We've seen in the past that the loan market hasn't been the chosen route of many supporters.. but are we in that place of it really doesn't matter who or where we get players from as long as we get out of this league.

How do you all feel about loans, what their purpose should be and how will you feel if for example we dropped a Wolfenden for an 18 year old loanee..

We haven’t got many loan spots open and the squad is already too big.

That said, we could do with a decent left back.

We haven't got the budget for them, Phil Jones has burned it all up.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

We need a left back, so we should recruit one whether it be a loan or a signing. Other than that, the squad is plenty big enough and unless the player we're bringing in is going to be a very very significant upgrade to our first team or is required to replace someone we've lost, then we should leave it until the Summer.

We just let Barry go because he couldn't get near our L1 team, so why get in any others? Most names mentioned don't seem to have any more experience than Barry

By and large, I’d rather bring in permanent signings over loans. Our players. Not pay over the odds for developing other clubs players. There are exceptions - players with a view to buying for example.

The loan system is a disgrace. Built to favour the richest clubs who hoover up players like it’s going out of fashion. Man City and Chelsea have over 50 players out on loan. Brilliant for them, bad for the game in my view. What next? B and C teams of their own in the lower leagues after ending relegation and promotion?
