That's probably fair. Reading match reports of their draw at MK paints a picture of Gillingham's goal being under siege, but some stubborn last-ditch defending. They lost all of the preceding five and haven't won since mid October.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Furthermore, we really need to win this match, preferably in some comfort (scoreline, not those being rained on in the stands). Barring extraordinary circumstances*, it would somewhat take the shine off the new McKenna era otherwise.

* e.g. Steve Evans starts a fight, McKenna and four of our blokes are sent off to none of theirs.

Haha, KM's too professional and calm to be sucked into all that!

Agreed we have to win this match though if we want to keep the dream alive.

Don’t think high scoring but a very professional either 1-0 or 2-0 win whilst never looking uncomfortable and controlling the game

Or

One of theirs get sent off and we go on the rampage and hit em for 6 !

We’ll win either way

Gladly take winning by 2-3 own goals right now

Wycombe, Oxford and MK Dons losing would be a massive help too. We really need teams like them to start dropping points. Given up on catching the top 3. Probably given up on catching Wycombe too but Sunderland could do us a massive favour today if they win there.

So we won't score and will concede two.

Actually think we will be alright and get a couple. They have had some of their more senior players return though.
