Every Saturday we follow … 10:56 - Jan 10 with 677 viewsbugblatter

I created this hand-printed greetings card last year (available from Come Hither Gallery – shameless plug), and was thinking of creating something similar using the lyrics of "Every Saturday we follow! We cheer the boys in blue, etc…"

I need consenus on the last line … I’ve read on here that it be "Allez, allez, allez" or perhaps "Ole, ole, ole".

However, we have no French or Spanish connection, so would anyone be offended if I used "Oyez, oyez, oyez"; instead, the styleee of a town crier?

Every Saturday we follow,
We cheer the boys in blue,
Champions of England,
Back in '62*
Bobby conquered Europe,
And we won the FA cup,
We support the Ipswich,
If we're down or if we're up,
Allez allez allez etc

*I hear some people sing 'in 1962' but it was always originally 'back in '62'
