Feed in tariff these days isn't applicable, so new panels won't generate as much as before

you'll reduce your bills as you'll be using the generated electricity before you use grid electric
Ideally you'll want a south facing or 30degree from south facing wall to have them on
worth weighing up projected savings vs cost of install to see at what point you'll be looking at breaking even and then into savings-land
