Tory MP, Mr Dod G Sirrup, has claimed that, it was a coup by the BBC "after hearing a news bulletin featuring criticism of the prime minister over lockdown parties at Downing Street."

This follows shortly after another Tory MP, Des Swine, had claimed that the parties were in fact the work of Remainers who opposed Brexit. From organising the parties to buying the wine this was the work of Remainers.
