Spring is coming.

I got mine before Christmas as I put the first dozen or so in mid February under cover. Usually have the first feed in early May.

What about Maris piper….is it too early to buy those and chit them?

Think they will go in the allotment this year.

Poll: best attacking central midfielder?

Some of us clever* ones don't even have to bother, as no matter how thorough we are in searching out with hands & arms up to the biceps in earth, every last little hanger on deep in the bed, some always manage to evade us and pop up as 'volunteers' with no effort every spring!

*aka lazy

Poll: Why can't/don't we protest like the French do? 🤔

Lovely job, I have some very healthy purple sprouting plants this year so looking forward to them and then asparagus. Might have to try the potato thing next year to have with them.

May you continue to be blight free!

That's 100% dependent on the weather.

Completely escaped it this year due to drought from 27th May to about 5th July. Literally zero measurable rain in that time.

Not so lucky every year, tho the particularly long hot summer of 2018 was another happily blight-free.

ETA - still eating the 2021 crop, have about another 7Kg left. Main problem was some wormholes in about 30% of them, had to cut about 5-10% of those ones away.
