If Evans had sold us just three years before now he'd have got more for the club and we would have likely still been a Championship club. Why he hung on for so long when he clearly wasn't going to spend is anyone's guess. |  |

I think there were offers for Town but maybe they weren't acceptable to Evans?
He also might have built up some affection for Town during his ownership & wanted to sell to credible owners who could take the club forwards. |  |
