Is the Kevin Beattie foundation now a horse-racing syndicate or something, as well as as a charitable organisation. he keeps tweeting screenshots of his bets?! - I couldn't donate to a cause where the guy running it is tweeting betting screenshots, even if it is the horse could Beattie is Back....

At least he will be the first one of Richard Fahey's runners past the post tonight. Not sure whether anything more positive can be said.

The horse has been ‘donated’ to the foundation.

Fair play to Malcolm, he’s travelled up again to see it in action, that’s twice in two weeks.

And unfortunate for the owner who had to put up with his company...

Same clowns involved in KBF that were up in arms with a betting company being on front of our shirt. Presumably they are genuinely thick?

A little curious how that works. Does the foundation get all the winnings without any of the expenses? Or does the foundation pick up both?

No idea to be honest. Might get a small percentage of any winnings, and obviously got the naming of it.

Good question. And if charity personnel are traveling the country to follow the horse, who picks up those expenses?

Wouldn’t say that without knowing.

I know it’s free entry to the course for the owners and associates. There’s always expenses when it comes to a charity anyway isn’t there?

And what about the training expenses too? I can't believe that KBF owns this horse even though I think I have been led to believe that. It would be a very odd thing for a charity to be involved in, for sure...
Is it simply a naming deal, for publicity (which would be fine, i think)? But Malcy has been quite clear that he gets owner's rights..

A bit odd. Maybe someone from KBF could clarify?

.....essentially a syndicate.

Membership is cheap, probably a couple of hundred quid a year.

I expect the the KBF has just got the horse named for a bit of publicity.

At worse Malcy has paid to be a member of the syndicate, but I doubt it.
