Are they back on the map? I thought they had disappeared years ago.

Looking good. I almost moved to Troston some while back and one reason I didn't was because the pub was on its knees at the time and the place is rather isolated as it is. And partly because the smell from the pig farms was a bit stenchy on a warm day with the wind blowing the wrong way.

Hmm, it's nice and country put it that way. Nice if you love quiet, which I do. But it's quiet for a reason. I should add the pub is the other end of the village, somewhat away from that experience.

Once you head towards Great Livermere, you're approaching duelling banjos country.

I like it out that there way though. Ampton et al. All owed by the same family of course.

Lucan on 22:23 - Jan 24 with 806 views | JakeITFC | Well deserved, been consistently brilliant for years but have gone up an extra level in the last 12 months. I think I said on here the other day that a Michelin star wouldn’t shock me soon. Also worth nothing that they went above and beyond to make the place as secure as possible for customers during covid, and they were rewarded with custom throughout.

We haven't been yet, but have had loads of good reports from friends. I think we'll pass on the £75 steak though.
