McKenna saying it's a "contractual issue" that is being sorted out by the club and this is why he was returned. Surely if it was to give him a new contract this could have been done whilst he was still on loan?

Strange move - unless he is going to a League 1 side on loan as McKenna also saying he is going to be part of the club future going forwards.

Someone posted last night he has been offered a contract which he is refusing to sign at present so makes sense.
