OK OK Skodas now are fine cars and my mechanic reckons they are quality cars as they come out of the VW school of production. Whatever went wrong with the VW was put right before the Skoda entered production under their own name.

I drive a VW Golf BTW but cannot resist a couple of giggles.

Not generally well regarded as a model, but that may mean you have found a bargain! You might try the Skoda Yeti, which is no longer made as they took their SUVs upmarket a couple of years ago, but is a decent motor.

If you do go for the Rapid, do bear in mind that, at 94bhp, it won't be.
