I will start with these three. Don't get me wrong I like all of these songs I just think the songs as a whole don't live up to the cracking intros.

Disagree with this. If someone like Bowie had recorded that people lots of people would have wet themselves and declared that song genius.

If Bowie had recorded it in 1972 then people would have wet themselves and declared that song genius.

Had he recorded it in 1995 they'd have said he was retreading old ground and living off past glories. A bit like Halo Spaceboy. Delightful for Bowie fans but nothing new.
