We’ve had in this league so far. Going through the motions and doing the bare minimum tip tapping our way to a mid table finish. Two managers, 20 odd new players to end up worse than what we had with Lambert running things. One dimensional, disinterested football. Playoffs are over but we should be beating these and so far we’ve been every bit as bad as they are. Few behind me in lower North already talking about leaving.
Season over in February… not even the Evans/Lambert combination was ever that bad in this league. In fact with a fit side Lambert was rolling over most the sht in this league. This lot however are an uninspired bunch, who’s hype is 100% media creation and have easily been our worse team for decades.
Recruitment needs to improve or we’ll be stuck for years. We need to emulate Coventry, Rotherham and Wycombe and stop trying to play by statistics in League one. Most passes completed and heat maps don’t win leagues. |  |
