Because we battered a very poor Gills team in the away game, I saw lots of fans expecting the same Saturday when it was obvious with a new (decent)manager at this level and then being on the back of a win, it was never going to be easy. I’ve seen someone say that because we have won 5 of the 7 games since Mac took over, that equates to 98 points next season Anyone who thinks the game v Donny is going to be anything other than difficult tomorrow is deluded. Yes it would be great to go onto the MK game with two wins but football is just not like that, we need to match Donacasters energy and physical side to have any chance of a good result. Also taking 7,000 fans to MK, as great a that is, will not be enough on its own. Our team is not creating many chances at present and it’s a big concern. [Post edited 7 Feb 2022 9:07]
