Widespread amber warnings across the whole of southern/eastern/western England haven't been on this scale since then. We could be looking at some severe disruption during Friday daytime in Suffolk...
Some models are suggesting up to 80-90mph winds even inland!
Game could be in jeopardy perhaps on Sat.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Most teams travel down on the day before, no? I highly doubt they'd travel on Sat AM that's for sure.
In normal circumstances yes. I'm just not sure what the EFL/FA rules are in terms of fulfilling fixtures. If a club says "we couldn't travel the day before therefore please postpone" do the authorities automatically agree? I dunno.

You're not old enough to have witnessed the hurricane in 1987 I presume?
Winds of 70-80mph in exposed urban areas like Ipswich could cause widespread damage.
Hate to be pedantic ( but, this is TWTD)... The 1987 storm wasn't a hurricane. It did, just about, have hurricane force winds though. A hurricane is a quite specific sort of tropical storm... (The weatherman was actually correct, albeit perhaps unhelpful).

Sounds like Burton should forfeit now and we’ll take the 3 points

That storm is probably my earliest memory, I was 4… my grandad stood on our door step and joked his car had been blown down the road, then had to dive out of the way of a fence coming at him 😂
I recall him calling the fence a ‘cnt’ in his rage

I did my paper round in that. Didn't know what it was when I set off, just thought it was pretty windy and came across a lot of trees across the roads.
Turns out I was the only paper boy who did his round that day, so I got plenty of tips that Christmas. My parents were relieved when I got home in one piece!
Trust the process. Trust Phil.
