Powerful forward who did okay at Everton a few years back in limited appearances.
Lost his way a bit since then but you’d have to imagine he’d be very good in League One in Burton’s system if he’s at peak fitness.
Just checked. 8 in 35 at Everton who paid £13.5m for him 6 years back. Not done much at Huddersfield or Cardiff of late but again, this is League One.
Sort of signing you could see us making under Evans or Sunderland or Wednesday but very surprised Burton could do a deal. Must be a big fan of Jimmy Floyd growing up!

He hasn’t played a game of football since January 2020, where he came on for 3 minutes. He hasn’t started a game since 2019.
Not saying it’s a bad signing for Burton, but hopefully won’t be fit for Saturday.

strikes me as a Sone Aluko type of signing, bit of a 'meh' when it happened but turned out to be a cracker..
They may have pulled off a great signing.
That depends a lot on how long he takes to get fit and on form. You would have to question why he hasn't played for about 2 years. Sone Aluko played 36 matches the season before joining us.

May explain why they got a deal done. Can only think he’s one with next season in mind as they are effectively safe and not going up, so maybe a case of getting him minutes and easing him in and he won’t feature against us.
If he does then he may be well off it anyway. I hope.
