Not sure if this has been mentioned but has KMcK got the officials not to put up the board with added time in the 2nd half?
Noticed it against Gillingham and thought that maybe I’d missed the announcement/board going up but seems like the same thing happened again today.
Sorry if it’s been mentioned already but I couldn’t see anything when I just had a quick scan of the board while waiting at Fleet services on my way back to the south coast……… I must say it’s a happier 3 hour journey back these days
Wasn’t announced though, I seem to recall Wenger doing something similar at Arsenal
Brenner remarked a couple times on the “mystery” of how much time was left. Something as fundamental as game time should not be a mystery. Should be displayed and announced.
I was equally confused it wasn't announced or shown today.
Technically the fa rules are the home side must ensure that sub boards are available to signal a change in player. There isn't or at least hadn't been a rule that said you had to show how or announce how long left in a game.
Unsure who that helps or hinders. Players on the pitch will know... they ask the ref. The board's all show 90... so everyone pretty much can guess. Sometimes it will get the crowd going especially if we need a goal. Seems like tinkering if true.
