Why aren’t these being given a chance especially with so many games coming up. I’m not impressed with Carroll at all. He links up ok but he doesn’t want to get involved and pulls out of any chances to shoot.
Our U23 play against better sides eg Watford so don’t see it’s such a step up. Subs bench needs freshening up!

Because the players we have playing are better players. Caroll was really good first half but disappeared in the second.

We’re trying to reach the playoffs. Im not sure now is the time to be introducing untried players, although I wouldn’t be averse to having Simpson in the bench and bringing him on with 20 minutes to go if necessary.
