Gives them an advantage with no away fans allowed in.

And I’m sorry but I don’t believe he’s handing all over in donations to the Ukrainian people either…. He’s a slippery as an eel that one!

Do you think all those Chelsea fans, who helped Hunt to be elected, will start going to Portman Road?

He didn't say he was handing over any profit to the Ukraine people... just that it would go to the victims of the war, so that would include on both sides.

Victims of war would presumably have included a big bung to Putin. On the basis of him losing sleep, the worry, the need to shoot a few dissenters making him a victim too. I’m glad it’s been done, but it should have been done at least a week ago. Better late than never. My Chelsea chum thinks it’s all a conspiracy against Chelsea along with refereeing decisions. Always one for the big picture, my mate 😂

All it really means is that RA won't be able to make any profit off Chelsea. The club is pretty self-sufficient anyway so not much is likely to change from that point of view.

I would say that a total transfer ban and a ban on all further ticket sales is a pretty big change. How self-sufficient is Chelsea if it can't sell players or tickets? The government's statement is thus far light on detail, but taken literally it would imply that no away teams will be allowed fans at Stamford Bridge, which seems like an unfortunate unintended consequence. Maybe this will be a further, as yet unannounced, exception with this licence that's been referred to.

Surely that means they can't sell anything. Programs, hotdogs, beer, replica kits etc

Losses of £145m to 30/06/2021, and think the cumulative losses since Abramovich took over are still close to a billion, although they did make a profit a couple of times more recently.

The point is to stop them bringing in any money so they could stop sponsorships and TV cash too and stop any of next seasons ST sales. That would be a fuker for them

That would be class. I don't know if there's a Premier League rule that demands that a certain number of away tickets are made available, but if so, it might be that they are indeed forced to let them in for free. For everything else there's Mastercard...
