3rd test - another slow pitch 14:36 - Mar 24 with 1253 views | SaleAway | Looks like its got a little bit of variable bounce in it though. Good start from england though ( in that they've not lost a wicket in the first 30 minutes) If they can survive the first hour, puts us in a decent position.

This WTC needs to be split into two divisions I think of say 6 teams in each. We would be relegated but at least a bit more competitive and it would focus minds.

Let’s wait and see what happens when the West Indies bat, we’ll have a better idea of the pitch then.

So, we cant force a win on a road. As soon as the pitch has something in it, we collapse again. Marvellous. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

There’s already signs of uneven bounce, if England bowl well they are still very much in this. This test match could be over in a couple of days. The last two pitches have been too flat, it looks like they’ve gone the opposite end of the spectrum with this strip. Like I said earlier let’s see how the West Indies get on batting on this, before jumping to conclusions.

3rd test - another slow pitch on 19:42 - Mar 24 with 894 views | Ace_High1 | After the last test there were worrying noises about how are are "well on our way" with our test reset and Collingwood wanting the job. To ensure proper change happened, I hope we get hammered here in 3 days. That way we can appoint an overseas coach (much better than our own coaches) and pick our best 11 with Broad and Anderson back in.

A 90 run last wicket partnership in a total of 204 is pretty funny. Obviously not the funniest sporting story of the day.

Oh, come on. 'Knowledgeable ' people on here say that Parkinson should have been selected rather than Jack. Now I know that Parkinson can't bat and can't field and that he is not so good a bowler as Leach, but they must surely be right.
3rd test - another slow pitch on 12:14 - Mar 25 with 652 views | Steve_M | This is a good summary of yesterday: https://wickets.substack.com/p/the-disgustingly-stupid-and-weird?s=r "Let me tell you the bit of cricket that summed all this up best. Bonner bowls a half tracking straight spinner. Mahmood rocks back and swings hard at a pull shot that he might as well have hit with a wet piece of paper. Seales sees the ball go past him and decides there's no point chasing it. Before he realises it's moving so damn slow. So he then pursues it to the boundary, dives head first to save a run, and almost slams into a sponsor sign neck first."
