You have to say that first and foremost.

We weren't at it and too many players slightly below par. We are going to need to get used to teams coming here and making it extremely tough for us. Starting games quickly and getting a breakthrough before half time is going to be key to our home form next season. We can't be giving teams something to hold onto in the latter stages of games.

Our strikers have done nowhere near enough lately. None of Pigott, Bonne or Norwood have played themselves into being here next season for me. Big re-jig required in that area of the team. Time to see what Simpson can do. And Carroll isn't going to be here next season so lets give Humphreys a chance too - he could not have played any worse yesterday!

I agree. We need to give the opposition credit to nullify us and these are exactly the type of games that we need to find ways of opening sides up when they sit back and defend for their lives. Since our relegation, we just haven’t been that good at doing it. If a team sits deep, we invariably struggle.
