Those media outlets are just trying to attract clicks. That's their job. "Nothing happening" doesn't make people click. Of course McKenna would refuse to rule out the possibility. Why would he? I'm sure he hasn't ruled out the possibility of Harry Kane coming on loan either.

No harm in them coming in here and training I suppose, and as others have pointed out, no harm at all to keep a link to United, whether that be for players on loan or young lads who are at a stage where a permanent move is best rather than a loan (which I've heard is a route we're looking to go down this summer, not just from United, but most Prem team academies). |  |

Most definitely. Lads around 20-22 who just aren't going to break in to the first teams at their respective clubs, and loan deals which just don't cut it for them and their clubs anymore.
