point of order, as the question relates to a sandwich, and sandwiches are characterised by a filling between two slices of bread, the correct preposition should be 'in' not 'on'.

Name me a better sandwich on 16:16 - Apr 11 with 799 views | WeWereZombies | When you have an onion intolerance any sandwich without fried onions in is a better sandwich, even a fresh air sandwich would be better for me. Vegemite is great in a sandwich but it is even better on toast. [Post edited 11 Apr 2022 16:23]

Not tried it with cheese either, hmmm. Melted? A crisp sandwich is one of those things you know you shouldn't do but have to. It's glorious. |
For some reason the delight that is the crisp sandwich works better with crinkle cut crisps than your standard. One of life’s mysteries.

Pull out the celery and sweetcorn, dispose of responsibly and you've got a lovely sandwich.

Works even better if you trade the crisps for some greasy chips and absolutely smother the bread with kerrygold

I couldn’t disagree with that. A poem! I had chips cooked in beef dripping a couple of years ago. Something I’d not had since childhood. Flippin awesome. Now in a sandwich with good quality bread and butter, your arteries might give up on you but you'd go with a smile on your face. Needs to be real kerrygold butter (mmm) from a proper block and not that spreadable stuff that’s adulterated with something. I hate that stuff. It ruins toast too.

That's a bit of me. With salt, vinegar and some ketchup. I think I would opt for a bap rather than a sandwich, but either will do tbh.

Yer, definitely salt an vinegar. Ketchup optional depending on mood. Would be just as happy with a bap as on cheap sliced white bread. Long as smothered in Kerrygold

Chips cooked in beef dripping, truly mouthwatering. There was a chipper in sligo that until 5-6 years ago was cooking chips in lard. Supreme chips, people queuing up outside...If I ever witnessed the 'fryer' holding a big block of lard above his head and then dropping it in like a sacrifice I always felt like cheering...
