Just watched his longest posted string of highlights. Good passer, but no tackles in evidence and rather on the short side which, alongside Morsy, would be a bit of a an omission in midfield. Scott Fraser was a must-have from his MK album, but had no place in McKenna's set-up.
If, as seems likely McK's strategy will be fixed according to purchases and pre-season setting up, then unless that turns out to be a plan where Brannagan is a mobile no 8 and others make-up for the aforementioned limitations, I think we'll be looking elsewhere. We need an Evans who is as good as Evans threatens to be, altough actually he isn't. [Post edited 24 Apr 2022 17:30]

14 goals, 5 pens, 1 free kick, 1 inside the 6-yard-box, 3 outside-the-penalty-area, all with his right foot. Played 40 games, only subbed out twice.
Hasn't had a season like this one before (1 goal/2 assists last year, 5 goals/8 assists the year before).
Shoots a lot (2.7/90, nearly twice as much Celina and Chaplin do).
Good pass completion. Beats every midfielder we have for tackles and interceptions, so not just an attacking player.
Contracted to Oxford until next Summer. Apparently has a buy out, but it's a lot more than the £500k Millwall offered in 2021. |  |

They must be because he's 10th in League One for tackles per 90 (Morsy is 17th, for context). | |

Blackpool were apparently the most interested in the January window. Might end up as another Crooks situation, with Oxford desperate to move him up a division rather than sell to us, but having to hang on until someone with a bit more money than Blackpool comes along.
(FWIW if we're recruiting for the Bakinson role, the other lad in their midfield - Herbie Kane - impressed me at their place. I'd also give Plymouth's Panutche Camara a look)
