Musk is doing some amazing things but he's clearly an absolute cock.
He's basically spending $44 bn to prove a point.
There should not be any such thing as billionaires. The amount of good he could have done in the world and he's bought an online cesspit.
I've just been on twitter & bookmarked the first 14 tweets that appeared in my feed. Here they are (sorry for the tedium to anyone else not involved in the on-going spat between J2 & myself re Twitter).
Fascinating, anti-Johnson piece in the Telegraph, directly related to his comments about liberalising work visas from India. ~AA https://t.co/MhStdEdGYv
Only elites will have rapid access to Paxlovid/ Monoclonal antibodies or any therapeutics developed. The rest of disease ridden crippled masses will toil to serve the elites & the economy. This will be the common fate of countries that surrendered to COVID, instead of fighting it

42.4% of the British electorate voted for the most hard-right/ultra Conservative platform ever proposed in the UK in 2019. Most of the manifesto was the spine of the NF one in 1970 (anti-EU / anti-migrant / cancel foreign aid, etc). At least in France they didn't elect it.
A stellar occultation by Neptune’s moon Triton, with 90 light curves (42 central flash detections) gave info of seasonal variations & lower atmosphere's shape: https://t.co/3Eec2U0jWa
Thanks for your lovely tweets from around the world and for recommending #AfterLife to your friends. Mostly, thanks for supporting all the people who open up about grief. You’ve created a nice little cult of kindness â¤ï¸ pic.twitter.com/859LUGSULk

Some "cesspit" . It's no more that than this place is because a few people choose to be abusive & troll right-wing nonsense on here.
We have no spat. I have an opinion and you disagree. We established that ages ago. I don't downvote you when you say Twitter is good.
Carry on, I find it amusing! Twitter, overall, is a cesspit and one day historians will write about as a leading cause of the beginning of the collapse of civilisation.
Downvote this post and you're going on ignore for a year

Don't disagree re your first para.
Assume your second para is an attempt at humour :)
Please feel free to put me on ignore for a year anyway, haha!

Hey J2, hope you are well.
I don't use twitter but I do get alerts when certain people post something, although I don't fully know why. I get alerts mainly when one of either Andrew Neil, James O Brien, Gary Lineker, or bizarrely Daniella Westbrook post something.
I generally click on the former two whilst I am on the Khazi, inbetween doing my morning Wordle. I usually find that you ultimately end up getting redirected and reading a pile of extreme sh1te from both sides of debate after working out what next to click.
That said, I'm sure it's great for many things and not just confirmation bias or a platform for weirdos like David Icke and the like.
Hooever - if the subject is about Musk I am asking myself why people would either agree or disagree with the acquisition because the very vast majority of us know nothing about him except that he sells electric cars, has a space rocket, helped out Ukraine a bit with satellite positioning and had a dad who owned a precious metal business in Africa; ergo, do we know enough to have a valid opinion?
The fact that I don't use twitter and have a base of (educated) friends who also don't - aside from Bossbeard - leads me to think that unlike Facebook which is probably saturated, $44b for Twitter seems on the face of it quite cheap.

Musk has done more than enough interviews to prove he's a cock.
Clever and has some big dreams I would like to see succeed but overall he's a cock.
