Blackburn have already done to Mogga what we did to McCarthy. Are you expecting them to be able to get a manager as good? How and why? It seems crass they never approached Mogga for a new contract but perhaps it has all just got a bit stale. I would be very surprised if their next appointment gets them anywhere close to where Mogga had them, though.

I wouldn’t put Mogga in the same bracket as McCarthy tbh. Agreed things do go stale at clubs if people are in place for a long period, and a club doesn’t achieve anything, but Blackburn under Mogga did at least try to play football and Mogga doesn’t come across as an arrogant individual who verbally attacks the fan base. With regards to the football style played under Mogga, I’m surprised with who they’ve gone with as a replacement.
