Latest ‘defence’ of Johnson by a local MP on 23:49 - May 25 with 1562 views | Nthsuffolkblue | The Tories have always hated public services and want to turn the public against them. To make the media push the lie that the majority of public service workers are criminal spongers as bad as themselves is nothing new. I doubt many people have a clue about the disparity between wage increases for MPs and the rest of the public services (yes, MPs really should be serving the public, shock horror!) over the past decade and more. (Even before you factor in erosion of terms and conditions such as pensions.)

Latest ‘defence’ of Johnson by a local MP on 06:27 - May 26 with 1421 views | LegendofthePhoenix | Bacon is an utter disgrace. Attacking the very people who took the full brunt of the pandemic. I am so angry about this totally unsubstantiated slur. Two of my work colleagues in my NHS Trust died from covid during the pandemic. Huge numbers of us were working crazy hours - but everyone was following the rules. What he doesn't seem to understand is that NHS workers don't see rules as being there to be broken, we see the rules as necessary to save lives, which is what our job is. I was cycling to and from my place of work and on getting home would go straight to the shower, bundle up my clothes and put them in the washing machine. Colleagues who lived further away were living in pods on the adjacent school playing field, not seeing their families at all for 3 months. I have never seen anyone in the NHS drinking alcohol while on duty at least since before the Millennium. Perhaps if Johnson and his staff had been sober, they might have made better decisions and taken proper advice before splurging billions on useless PPE and medical devices that didn't meet any standards, and got scrapped. Bacon you are a stain on humanity.

Latest ‘defence’ of Johnson by a local MP on 08:33 - May 26 with 1206 views | NthQldITFC | I'd only heard of this Dick Bacon chappie recently, and had no idea what he looked like. I now believe in nominative determinism, twice over. Does he have a little Hitler moustache, or is that just a trick of the light? Porcine pratt. [Post edited 26 May 2022 9:14]

Latest ‘defence’ of Johnson by a local MP on 14:29 - May 26 with 925 views | bracknell_blue | My daughter was a sister on a COVID ward from March 2020 to May 2021. She caught COVID due to inadequate PPE. She worked long shifts and extra days. She was knackered after every shift and emotionally drained. When she got home she was too tired to cook - fortunately local companies donated food to the hopsital so the staff could eat OK. There were no parties, no socialising. Any drinking was done at home if she or her OH (also working in the NHS) had the energy. We were seriously concerned for both her mental and physical health and it certainly did take its toll. She is still recovering but now works in Oncology (slightly less stressful!) These politicians who seem to think we are all as bad as they are totally disgust me.

Woah, woah, woah - no fat shaming here. You'll upset the people who are totally cool with racism, homophobia and lazily tarring poor people with the same brush.
