Where are we getting bigger? Bakinson out, Ball in. Norwood out, Ladapo in. As it stands we're still 4 down (Thompson, Carroll, Celina, Bonne) on the squad we finished last season with.
Personally these look like sensible, judicious signings to me. With Ladapo and Jackson in the building we have 2 forwards who can do 2 jobs (wide forward, centre forward), with space for another (possibly more of a complete, all-round striker). With Ball we have a centre midfielder from the level above who doubles up for Donacien, Evans and Morsy as needed, exactly the kind of flexibility you need to maintain a smallish squad. |  |
