First academic exam in 24 years 11:55 - Jun 8 with 703 views | wkj | So far my late surge of unrivalled academic excellence has been achieved via excellent assignment writing and research projects - so to mix it up the University set an exam on my current module. 10am tomorrow is my first exam in a very long time - how does the last day of revision work again? All support is appreciated so that I may continue to be TWTD's most loved savant. With love, Lord William Keller M.D. [Post edited 8 Jun 2022 11:55]

First academic exam in 24 years on 12:02 - Jun 8 with 672 views | blueasfook | Let me think back to my uni days... Final day before exam... Go to pub, get pissed, roll home at 1am with a pizza. Wake up at 7am and say "Oh f**k!!", and frantically revise with a hangover.

First academic exam in 24 years on 12:13 - Jun 8 with 652 views | itfcjoe | I did a degree recently, and found the exams were really a place to pick up high marks - they seem to mark much more generously than they do with assignments and is so much easier being able to freewheel somewhat rather than have to reference everything. Just make sure you have done as much as you can by this evening, then get a good nights sleep and smash it. Maybe spend an hour making some flash cards you can just look at in morning for half hour ot so

Cheers. My research/assignment papers have a 95% mark rating so I can scrape a distinction with 72% - I will definitely not be drinking caffeine beyond tea time tonight.

First academic exam in 24 years on 13:16 - Jun 8 with 577 views | Ryorry | Highlight keywords - and when it comes to tomorrow, remember that *the examiner doesn't know that you know something you think is so bleedin' obvious that you don't even need to bother saying it*! Was my chief failing, until an ace OU tutor pointed it out to me :)

Thankfully my exam is technical not report based, so I don't have to provide any "real word" answers. Though that is certainly something that will be featuring next spring.

First academic exam in 24 years on 18:43 - Jun 8 with 425 views | ParisBlue | If my degree is anything to go by then you must go clubbing till 3am 2 nights before and get hammered, wake up mid afternoon, cram a years subject matter into the next 14 hours with hangover, go straight to the exam and waltz it. Worked for me.
