New Kit Pricing 10:36 - Jun 17 with 2397 views | itfc48 | Our kits are a relative bargain compared to the big boys of the premier league. £70-£75 for an adult shirt and £55 for a junior shirt is quite frankly scandalous in the current climate. They seem to forget their fans aren't on Premier League wages.

Yup. I think £70 up for any football shirt is a rip-off, I remember thinking that they were a rip-off when they cost more than 40, and given they will be changed in less than a year there's no value in them at all really.

New Kit Pricing on 11:26 - Jun 17 with 2219 views | Marshalls_Mullet | Agreed, I don't usually buy a shirt as I'm over 40. But at £50 I though it was worth buying for 5 a-sides etc.

Do football shirts have an age limit then?

Yea but if you look at league one do ipswich Sheffield Wednesday Maybe Derby sell a bit cheaper as the supplier turns out more than a club with say seven thousand fan's
New Kit Pricing on 15:24 - Jun 17 with 1708 views | sticklegs | It still amazes me that people pay £49 for a polyester T shirt. I think the new shirt is a great design, but could never justify spending that...Surely they should cost about 30 quid and there'd still be a half decent profit being made. They are basically exploiting our passion for our club, by ripping off those who choose to buy one. . | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Bought 1 because I do really like the back to the 90s kit and 2003 powergen shirt doesn't fit well any more and the powergen bit is coming off, they are the only 2 shirts I've ever bought as generally I think they are overpriced 50 quid is too much but gotta have 1 good town shirt 70 plus is just theft

It's incredibly uncool to wear the current year's home shirt if you're not a child. That's just fact.

What if I only wear it for sports... Football, running, gym, etc. And is the only way to look cool to wear under armour like everyone else?

Even then, the fact that it's 'current' immediately rules you 'uncool'.

New Kit Pricing on 16:43 - Jun 17 with 1506 views | itfc48 | The team's league shouldn't affect the price as you're getting more or less the same product no matter what the standard of football. I can understand differing ticket prices as in theory the higher the league the higher the quality of the football (although not always the case I know!). A polyester shirt is a polyester shirt.
New Kit Pricing on 18:35 - Jun 17 with 1370 views | Vaughan8 | I think £50 seems to be the norm price for most teams. Premier League clubs have enough mugs to pay their ridiculous prices. I can't ever say £50 is a bargain. Not sure i've bought a full priced shirt in ages. Usually get a cheaper one later on in the seaso or as a present!

If it looks good, wear it. I still wear my 2000 shirt and I think it looks ok. There’s no way my missus would let me wear it if it didn’t. Not everyone can wear one. It’s like not everyone can wear Lycra outside of the Gym.

They should do. | | | |
New Kit Pricing on 09:18 - Jun 18 with 1057 views | tractorshark | I’ve genuinely never understood the fuss about people over 25 buying replica shirts. There are far worse things in modern football… half and half scarves, kids holding signs saying can I have your shirt, dodgy owners and the ridiculous gulf in finances through the leagues. I don’t buy shirts every season but every now and then, one tempts me. I suppose it’s a hark back to my youth and a feeling of identity. And if you have ever witnessed the Yellow Wall at Dortmund, you can see what visual effect it can have. As I say I’m puzzled why it offends people. Personally I think the Stone Island obsession is odd. It doesn’t matter what you wear on your sleeve, it doesn’t make you hard. All I ever see is yoofs swearing, gesturing and then secretly praying the stewards and police keep them apart from the opposition fans. But it’s their choice, each to their own.
