200 degrees is very nice and not far from me but been drinking quite a bit of Lavazza as my sister started working there recently, so end up with lots of random bags of beans every time I see her. [Post edited 30 Jun 2022 10:30]

I'm a flat white man with an extra shot
For home use I have one of those bean to cup things (it was recommended by someone on here) but I can't find the perfect bean - and to be honest it's a lot of faffing around.
For instant I am a Cart Noir fan - although I think it's been rebranded to L'or or something like that - however I'm currently drinking Nescafe Azera as L'or wasn't on offer. |  |

I've tried so much man, V60, cafetiere, we've got a very fancy restaurant quality machine at work (although it's a ball ache to set up) and tbh I'm back on a decent instant. Better for the planet apparantly and from a taste perspective it's decent, and just loads easier. Don't get me wrong if I'm out and about in a nice cafe in Italy then you can't beat a proper coffee, but my day to day is Beanies at the moment (decaf), drop of oat milk. Nothing fancy at all. |  |

For me it can be, yeah. Doctor and therapist advised me to stop with it. I find it very hit and miss though - if I forget to order decaf most of the time I'm okay, but sometimes it's hell on earth for a few hours with physical and mental symptoms really badly exacerbated.
As you can imagine, other substances with similar effects are far worse. | |

It's alcohol and the bad stuff for me. If I overdo things I can spend the next three days wondering how on earth I'm going to cope with all the work and projects going on.
I've been a relatively good boy this week and I can see clearly.
I think it's an age thing as well. As you get older your body can't recover, basically your body is telling you to sort yourself out.

Roasted beans from Coffee Link (ipswich roasters), usually Mexican or Colombian beans, ground at home and a cappuccino made using my sage coffee machine.
I am peak middle class and I claim my badge here.
It is bloody tasty coffee though.

Alcohol absolutely does me in the next day as well. Get incredibly jittery the next day if I've really overdone it.
I have found recently having some food and necking a pint of water with some hydration stuff in it (bloody foul) makes a difference. | |
