ITFC represented at Wembley tonight… on 23:38 - Jul 1 with 2411 views | Swansea_Blue | Bloody show off! All I’ve done tonight is cook tea and spend a bit of time on here with a couple of tinnies. Nice shirt though. That’s a promotion shirt if ever I saw one.

As much as I’d like a cup run, I wouldn’t want to make the final, or even the semi, if it caused a distraction from winning the league…

It doesn't need to be that polarised. Cup runs can be a positive thing and help with confidence and momentum. Need to dispel this false narrative about cup runs being a bad thing.

Nothing more tinpot than Colmans Mustard whoopie de doo. Anglian Windows /home improvements laughable really as the only way to improve sparrow road is to paint it blue. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It wasn’t a polarised view… for us to be at Wembley, it would ideally be in the cups… don’t want to be there in the playoffs, as would much prefer to secure promotion via winning the league.

I’ve never understood the negativity myself. To use a well worn phrase , you can’t buy publicly like this. As for the lot up the A140, their sponsors were almost going to be a porn site last season so some silence from them would be appropriate!

Wigan won the league and got to the semis of the Papa John's, losing on pens. Also the 4th round of the FA Cup and 3rd round of the League Cup. Rotherham came runners up and won the Papa John's, as well as making the 3rd round of the FA Cup, losing on pens. Our consistent early cup exits and mid table finishes prove this too. I would love us to be involved in every tournament as long as possible, as Mullet says this will breed confidence.

ITFC represented at Wembley tonight… on 12:39 - Jul 2 with 1207 views | The_Major | "Tinpot"?! Seriously? He's one of, if not the biggest pop stars in the world. The publicity value is enormous. He's got fans in say Japan, who couldn't point to East Anglia on a map, let alone Ipswich, who will buy the shirt because he's endorsed it. It is marketing genius. Who do these people think should be sponsoring us? Google?

Their team never plays in a competition which gives the opportunity to play at Wembley, so they don't count.

If we were sponsored by Google, some of our fans would consider it uncool as they prefer more obscure search engines such as Ask Jeeves
