Just noticed on Twitter that Pigott has scored his first goal for Pompey.

Poll: Are we happy with the takeover?

Lol. I wouldn’t bet against him scoring 20+ this season.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Fine, as long as he doesn't score any of them against us!

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Think it's definitely on. He's one who will put away balls into the box. Just like he did tonight. That's not our way of playing...

Good luck to him. If he does well he comes back next summer full of confidence or someone pays us a bit of cash and buys him. Win win.

Categorically not the case. We had lots of crosses in the box last season aka Wes Burns assists and Bonne early season goals so that doesn’t make any sense.

A couple during a game isn't the same as a team who's main aim is to get to get the ball into the area as often as possible. Lofted balls. Drilled crosses. Cowley style is perfect for him.
My opinion of course.

He will score 20 next season.

He was slated here but we never setup to play to his strengths as Portsmouth and Wimbledon did previously.

I hope he does well there as still our player

Fair point and I don't disagree that he will score a few this coming season.
Not sure I feel Portsmouth are that Rotherham level in their relentless team effort of bombarding the defence from all angles for 80 mins.
I can see him dropping deeper, laying off the ball and then not getting on the end of the cross!
This season unlike last we will have deep runners and more attack driven balls into the box - quicker and harder to mark attacking play generally.
Might be wrong but that's our upcoming POA and I'd like to think the back line would negate thump-ball also if it comes their way.
When he gets to 18 goals and we are still showing what's been very pre-season mode so far I'll post this again with my head bowed and hat wringing in hands of course!

His problem was he can’t control the ball as KM would ideally have liked and played the passing game on the deck ……. Up in the air and drop downs he is fine , not our way unfortunately for him , good luck to him .

We've "been very pre-season mode so far" in pre season?!

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Thats as many league goals for us within less than a game.
Fair play hope he does well. Another failed striker here.
