"If the rumours are to believed, wow " 11:13 - Jul 27 with 2045 views | Oldfield1912 | ... was a comment i remember being made by Gareth Ainsworth on sky sports at the end of last season regarding towns potential incomings this summer. I might be a bit greedy to think we have 1 big surprise signing to come. Or was his simply referring to us targeting the likes of Scott twine, Celina, etc Either way I can't bloody wait for Saturday!

Agree with this. Could have been about anything. He might even have heard the total value of the pension fund and taken it completely out of context. Anyway, I think it is 'wow' for us. Nothing is certain to work out but the new owners are leaving no stone unturned and really do seem to have the will and resources to get us back to at least the top half of the Championship. After all those years being the slowly boiled frog under Evans it's a great change. At least from now on, in this division or the Championship*, we look like we can be genuinely competitive. *Based on new investment

Our business really hasn't been anything more spectacular than Derby or Sheffield Wednesday's has it? We need McKenna to build what we have into a team and get the results.
