Good for you!! I nearly went when Jill Scott got a great, big bear hug from Prince William when the England side were getting their medals, thought that was lovely.
Am in a bar in the stadium, utterly in bits. What a fabulous performance and result. A stadium full of families, no pissed up idiots (apart from self + Mrs FE), so many kids having an absolutely amazing time. German fans mixed in with England and no issues... As a young kid, I was gutted when we lost in the 1970 World Cup. Today has closed that book. When England last won a major trophy, our women were still under their FA ban...

Just got back home after the game. I was teary at both goals and the final whistle, probably the most emotional I’ve been at any live sport. Atmosphere was superb, as has been mentioned already, lots of families, everyone having a good time, the Germans were a credit to losing football fans everywhere, waving their flags long after the final whistle and staying for the presentation.

Was 10 German Bombers sung?

Game had it all didn't it? A true topsy-turvy of emotions. What's the betting that they'll win Coach of the Year and Team of the Year?
A true credit to how far the women's game has come. Lot of youngsters will now want to emulate their heroes after watching that final.
