I genuinely have no idea what this is about but I am going to go out on a limb and say that one of the Talking Town lot has called us all rats?
What happens if someone is on TWTD and likes their podcast. Are you still a rat, a bit of one or completely excused? Not saying I'm a fan of theirs. Listed to a few but felt sorry for Martin (is it?) who seemed decent enough but got ignored and shouted over.
If so, here's an actual rat not enjoying their show by listening into it.

I think you're overthinking this. Being called rats by utter garbage is simply funny. It's a waste of time and effort trying to apply logic to their desperate attempts to be relevant.

They remind me of an ex I had briefly (not physically thank god) who I realised after about 2 months was a fruit loop and who then spent every waking hour making up stuff about me and my mates on Facebook.
Like Phil, I just ignored it and then eventually had the inconvenience of feeling I had to step in to correct some pretty ridiculous made up stuff (that I'd sit outside their house staring every night) which was easily dismissed as they had no idea that 3 weeks earlier I'd gone up to Scotland to work for 4 months!
So I do feel for Phil getting dragged in. Sadly if they spread enough rubbish some of it will stick. It's quite funny really seeing people accusing people of being something that they are oblivious to being themselves but sadly you can't reason with these sort of people.
I am sure they are deluded enough to believe some of it. You can't apply logic. But you can feel for Phil having to either ignore this rubbish and them trying again or fuel it by getting involved.
